Measurement

Zero setting:
The instrument is placed on a horizontal table without vibration. Will digital dial indicator (gauge) / the dial test indicator properly be installed on the instrument. Note: The digital dial indicator must be firmly installed on the mounting seat.
If there is no test specimen, you should do a Zero Setting according "ZERO" on digital dial indicator (Zero Setting is not necessarily in the absolute zero, it can be any position within the measurement range );
If there is no test specimen, you can through rotating outer ring on dial indicator pointer to do the "Zero Setting" (Zero Setting is not necessarily in the absolute zero, it can be any position within the measurement range ) .
2. Measurement operation
Right hand presses the lifting lever to improve the measuring head. Put the sample into the measuring surface, slowly relax the lever so that the measuring head gently pressed on the sample (to avoid shock), to be stable (about 2~5s), that is, the right indicating value.
Every measurement point only can be measured once.
If you put multi-layered samples to test layer thickness, layer thickness divided by layers to get single layer thickness.
